Douglas and Camelia Howey serve in Râșnov, Romania—a growing suburb of Braşov in the heart of Transylvania. Their ministry centers on loving God, loving people, and making disciples through the local church.
Planting Biserica Izvorul Vieții
In 2014, they planted Biserica Izvorul Vieții (Spring of Life Church), a Bible-teaching, disciple-making church committed to reaching their community, establishing believers in the Word of God, and training leaders to plant new churches and send missionaries throughout Romania and beyond.
Securing a Permanent Ministry Base
Today, the Howeys are working to secure full ownership of a strategically located ministry building in Râșnov. This facility serves as a permanent base for evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development. Once fully paid, it will be entirely dedicated to gospel ministry—hosting church services, outreach efforts, discipleship training, and equipping future church planters and missionaries.
Their vision is clear and biblical: to see lives transformed through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to establish self-sustaining, indigenous churches that reproduce and carry the Gospel throughout Romania and to the ends of the earth.
