Josh and Sabrina Pannell
Josh, Sabrina, Lily, and August Pannell serve at Trinity Fellowship Church, Addis Ababa. Their Louisville, Kentucky church is sending out a team of 9 missionaries to plant this church in the Summer of 2020.
The purpose of their mission to Ethiopia can be summarized in two categories: 1) Disciple-making that results in new Christ-centered churches; 2) Theological training for the next generation of Ethiopian church leadership. Josh serves as the Dean of the Trinity Fellowship Pastors College and in teaching and supplementary preaching roles at Trinity Fellowship. Sabrina serves in hospitality roles at the pastors college and discipleship ministries at the church.
Josh became a Christian in his early teenage years and quickly developed a love for God’s Word. While in college, he began to sense that the Lord was calling him to church planting and theological education in an African context. His eagerness and ability to serve the African Church with the gospel have only grown during his education. He is excited to use his giftings in theology and teaching to serve on the church planting team in Ethiopia.
Josh received a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Northland International University in 2014 and his M.Div. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2020, Kentucky. As part of his theological training, he graduated from the Sovereign Grace Pastors’ College in 2018. His education has deepened his desire to serve in Ethiopia and share the gospel.
Sabrina is deeply grateful to have grown up in a home where she was taught the gospel and accepted Christ at age five. She developed a love for other cultures and languages in high school and honed those interests by studying cross-cultural education in college. In 2011, the Lord began to point her heart toward Africa during an 11-week trip to Chad. She is delighted by the opportunity to serve her family and the local church in Ethiopia.
Sabrina received a B.A. in Cross-Cultural Education from Northland International University in 2015 and is eager to use these skills in Ethiopia.
They would be delighted and grateful if you could support them with prayer or finances as they seek to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in Ethiopia.
