Molly first developed a heart for Ethiopia during a short trip in February 2020. Following that trip, she began to pray and think about moving to and serving in Ethiopia. She moved there in September 2022, and as her heart for the country grew, she felt God leading her to stay long-term.
Molly works with a nonprofit called Glimmer for Street Kids, which is located in Kore, a trash dump community in Addis Ababa. Glimmer works to serve vulnerable children and women living in poverty, providing education, nutrition, and medical care. Molly teaches the students ESL, Art, and the Bible. She also has opportunities to share the gospel during a Saturday Bible Club program.
