My wife and I serve among a people group that has experienced cycles of war throughout much of their history. Many here are in deep need of hope, personal care, and true refreshment. Though they are not a large population, they are strong, resilient, and clearly under God’s care. Most live secular lives, while others are deeply rooted in religion and tradition—yet sadly, both often leave Jesus out.

With young children, we often find ourselves in local parks, where natural opportunities arise to engage families in gospel conversations. We are currently on track to reach an advanced level in the local language within a year, allowing us to communicate more clearly and deeply with those around us. We remain in awe of how God is at work here, faithfully anchoring us in Him through challenging seasons.

Looking ahead, God is calling us to move north to plant churches and help build communities of believers who will, in turn, go out and do the same.
