We dedicated our lives to God, and that is not our achievement but God’s grace and plan for our lives. I share this because we live in a world that tries to accomplish things by themselves, because they think they can, but something that describes our ministry is that we just try to be in God’s plan, not ours, in every period of our lives. I started as a Cru missionary back in 2018 and after a few years, after getting married to my wife, Doroteea, God called us to move from the city where I was working with students, Iași, Romania, to a much smaller and undeveloped town called Dorohoi.

Everything started when I realized that all these students who come to university are from small towns, and they are not guided well until they reach university. So God put in our hearts the vision of working with teenagers while still in high school and already sharing the Gospel with them, preparing them for life by sharing about God and the importance of having a personal relationship with Him.

We realized that this is a long-term ministry, as they will not make any responsible decision until they become adults, but it increases the possibility, as the BARNA studies share that “about two-thirds of people who become ‘born again’ do so before age 18 (68%)—with much smaller shares happening later (e.g., 8% at 18–21, 8% at 22–29, 8% in their 30s, 9% at 40+).” This is how God put in our hearts the NEED to work with teenagers between these ages. We have small groups every year, continuing camps, English clubs, and other big events that give us visibility and give us a chance to meet them and share the Gospel afterwards in a personal way.
