In 2022, the Agape church plant had the amazing opportunity to purchase a building in a prime location in downtown Bucharest. We could only afford it because it was in poor shape, but its potential is tremendous! Please help us renovate it completely.
Why a Building of Our Own?
On one hand, the building we are currently renting has become insufficient for our children’s Sunday schools. We cannot grow as a church if we do not move into a larger space.
On the other hand, in the past 10 years, Agape has already been kicked out of one house, one theater, and one office, even while the leasing agreements were still valid. Weak laws are part of the problem, and the other part is that the majority of people here consider Evangelicals to be a cult and are suspicious of us.
A building of our own would help us establish credibility in our neighborhood and provide much-needed space for most of our ministries. Read more about these at www.mogosinromania.com.
There are only 0.5% Evangelicals in Bucharest, which has a population of 2.5 million people! Agape’s vision is to be a light in the midst of Bucharest, shining with the Gospel of Christ and bringing many to Him.
