Josh Simpson
Josh Simpson serves as Vice President of Finance at Global Outreach International, where he oversees the organization's financial operations and the compliance infrastructure supporting more than 370 field staff serving in over 70 countries. His work spans nonprofit accounting, financial policy, audit, and the systems that keep GOI's missionaries supported and resourced around the world.
A licensed CPA who earned his Master of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi, Josh brings more than 17 years of experience across public accounting, private accounting, and higher education. He has spent the past four-plus years at GOI building the financial and operational foundation that allows the organization to steward its resources well and serve its field staff with integrity, leading with a conviction that sound financial stewardship is itself a form of ministry, one that protects and strengthens the work happening on the field.
Josh has a heart for people and for seeing the Gospel of Jesus Christ shared around the world. He counts it a privilege to use his professional gifts in service of the Great Commission, ensuring that those on the field can focus on the work to which they have been called.
He and his wife, Lauren, have four children: Hayes, Pate, Calla Mathis, and Banks. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting and traveling with his family.
