Hi, I'm Josh.
Josh Yerkes
Josh serves as Vice President of Development at Global Outreach International, where he leads the development team in fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and marketing initiatives to advance the organization's mission of sending, equipping, and caring for missionaries worldwide. He has served as Major Gifts Officer for Global for the past three years, with nearly ten years of experience in nonprofit leadership. Over the years, he has developed extensive experience in major donor cultivation, organizational growth, and nonprofit management.
As a missionary kid (MK), Josh grew up with a firsthand understanding of the challenges and opportunities missionaries face. Before joining Global Outreach, he served in operational and executive leadership roles with the YMCA and in several church leadership capacities; a thread that continues today as he serves on staff at a local church in Roanoke, Virginia. This diverse background has allowed him to connect with donors, churches, and missionaries in meaningful ways. He is passionate about building strong partnerships that will help see the Gospel go to every nation, this generation.
Most importantly, Josh is a husband and father to three beautiful girls and currently live and minister in Southwest Virginia.
