Josh Yerkes

Josh serves as Vice President of Development at Global Outreach International, where he leads the development team in fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and marketing initiatives to advance the organization’s mission of mobilizing and caring for missionaries worldwide. He has served as Major Gifts Officer for Global for the past three years, with nearly ten years of experience in nonprofit leadership. Over the years, he has had extensive experience in major donor cultivation, organizational growth, and non-profit management.

As a missionary kid (MK), Josh grew up with a firsthand understanding of the challenges and opportunities missionaries face. Before joining Global Outreach, he served in operational and executive leadership roles with the YMCA as well as in several church leadership roles. This diverse background has allowed him to connect with both donors and missionaries in meaningful ways. He is passionate about building strong partnerships that ensure we can continue on in our vision of every nation, this generation, being reached with the good news of the Gospel.

Most importantly, Josh is a husband and father to two beautiful girls. They currently reside in Roanoke, Virginia.
