Hello Friends and Family!!!!
I am so excited to share with you the opportunity that God has given me. This summer, it has been placed on my heart to go serve at Good Shepherd's Fold in Jinja Uganda. Good Shepherd's Fold is a home for orphaned and vulnerable children. The original work at GSF has deepened over the years to impact entire families and communities. The current mission of GSF is making disciples through child care & advocacy, education, and community development so that they are holistically building thriving families and transforming communities for Christ.
I will be In Uganda at GSF May 27th through July 31st serving. I will be ministering in activities as an intern on the GSF campus. As an intern, I will teach the children (Sunday School, Junior Church, evening devotions) on a weekly basis and will have the opportunity to interact with the GSF missionary team, children and staff on a daily basis, including participation in staff devotions, children’s activities and other events. I will get the chance to see both the challenges and joys of life in a mission setting.
I am so excited to be a part of partnering with GSF to bring Christ’s love to the people of Uganda, and I realize I will be blessed abundantly in return. God is calling me to serve, and I am relying on Him for strength and wisdom as I prepare for this internship. As you feel called, I would be so blessed if you would consider supporting me prayerfully and/or financially.
This trip was originally scheduled for last summer but was cancelled due to covid, I just found out that this year it's a go! Because of the late notice, I don't have much time to raise financial support. If you are willing and able to give financially would you consider doing so by April 15th? The total cost of the trip is approximately $1600 plus my airfare which includes: a Uganda entry visa, ministry funds in Uganda, all lodging, meals, transportation, and Global Outreach application fee and insurance. I am also seeking prayer partners to pray for me, the ministries, safety, the people of Uganda, and the trip as a whole. It takes the body of Christ to send someone into the mission field and I am so thankful for you all!
