Brian and Julia Kiama

Brian and Julia Kiama are members of Trinity Fellowship Addis Ababa, where they lived and served for 3 years as Brian got his pastoral training and ordination under Sovereign Grace Churches. They currently have two children, Adriel and Tadya and are expecting their third through adoption.
The Kiamas moved back to their home country, Kenya, in August of 2024, to plant a gospel-centered church in Nairobi with the Leslie family. Their desire is for Christ to be exalted and for his gospel to advance across Kenya through the planting of healthy gospel-centered churches. To accomplish this, they would need to identify, train, and send out godly men to carry out this task in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Alongside this, they have recently started working together with a local organization to offer missionary care for Kenyan missionaries working in the Horn of Africa, starting with care towards missionary kids. Brian is serving as lead pastor alongside Jonathan Leslie while doing his MTh degree at Union School of Theology. Julia joyfully uses her gift of hospitality to serve and bless others, while providing a context for fellowship and evangelism. She is also passionate about discipling younger women and enjoys homeschooling their children, Adriel and Tadya.
