Derick and Ruthie Mwebaza Kato, Founders and Visionaries of Yahweh Tendereza Ministries, have a heart on fire for God. Ruth's life is a story of adversity meeting opportunity. After losing her mother at the age of six, she and some of her siblings were sent to an orphanage. In the orphanage, Ruth realized quality education can open doors and change the trajectory of lives. This is where her vision of bringing education to her home village of Bugoba began.
In 2016, Yahweh Tendereza Ministries was founded. The ministry currently serves 400+ children in the primary school, offers the only Christ-centered village church, provides medical support to the community of Bugoba, empowers community women who suffer injustices, and has multiple sustainable agriculture projects.
Family:
The couple are together raising their Two biological children, Jayden and Jayson Kato – 5 & 4 years old respectively.

YAHWEH Tendereza Ministry is a holistic Christ-centered discipleship ministry grounded in God’s Word and dedicated to empowering the families of Bugoba through spiritual, educational and economic training in order to point people to Jesus Christ and enable them to live fully for His glory.
