Account #: 5729
Holly first came to Ethiopia in 2008 as a “field reporter” with Life in Abundance International. Through her three years with LIA traveling in East Africa and reporting stories of transformation, she saw powerful mission strategy through equipping local churches. She moved to Ethiopia in 2011 and became a full-time Instructor and later Student Dean at Hope University College in Addis Ababa.
She feels humbled to have spent over a decade learning college campus life there and helping to instruct and mentor students. Since 2014, she has also been an Instructor at ETC- the Evangelical Theological College. She’s been teaching missions, youth ministry, sport for the church, and various other courses… helping to equip current and future church leaders. In 2022, Holly transitioned to full time staff at EvaSUE, the Evangelical Students’ and Graduates’ Union of Ethiopia as a Consultant-Advisor and Trainer. She will help equip their over 50,000 students on over 100 college and university campuses around the country in leadership, discipleship and missions.
She has a huge heart for youth and a passion to see them discipled and to become world changers for Jesus! She also wants to see the local church strengthened. She’s grateful for the continued opportunity given to live and work in Ethiopia, where she calls home!
