Hello, my name is Matthew Lisanby. I am from Nashville, Tennessee, but I have been living and serving in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for the past 3 years. I met my wife, Bethel, here in Ethiopia and we were married in October 2022. She works here as a missionary as well as a school counselor at Bingham Academy, an international, Christian School that primarily caters to the children of missionaries. I work at International Evangelical Church (IEC) coordinating and leading a 9-month-long discipleship program called Downline Ministries. as well as helping lead the Young Adults ministry. Downline's my primary focus as we take around 40 individuals through the Bible with a focus on what it means to create disciples using the Jesus model: to reach the masses by discipling a few faithful men.
