Rachel White

Led by God’s call to take the Gospel to every tribe and tongue, Rachel is working to bring hope and healing through medical ministry in western Tanzania. Originally from North Carolina and growing up in Tanzania as a missionary kid, she has felt this calling from a young age.

At Kigoma Baptist Hospital, Rachel is serving as a volunteer nurse in the labor and delivery and pediatric wards. She is working to share God’s love and hope with staff, patients and family members as she serves at the bedside.

Her desire is to engage unreached people groups through medical ministry, evangelism, children’s programs, worship, prayer, local church connections and missionary partnerships in the Kigoma region and beyond.

Pray that the unreached in Tanzania would find peace, joy and community in the loving arms of Jesus Christ.

Pray that those who come to the hospital will be met with overwhelming hope and healing in Jesus’ name.
