Robert and Jill Stokes, along with their children, are the founders of Narrow Road Ministries. As God leads, Narrow Road will provide care and accommodations to missionary families while in the states, as well as help bridge the local church to the needs of the missionary kids who come to the states apart from their families for education. Through interactions with missionaries serving abroad and members of the local church, they discovered that many missionary families do not have a place to go to find rest and renewal when they returned to the states and that the church as a whole, desires to understand better how to meet the needs of missionary families. With God's direction, Narrow Road Ministries' purpose is to connect missionary families and their children in the states with Care Families within the church, provide hospitality to the missionaries on furlough or in transition, and to lead short-term mission teams to go and support missionaries in the field, so that by the Holy Spirit they can be refreshed and recharged to continue in their calling to follow Christ in taking the gospel to the nations.
