Boruga Church Construction

With God's help, Betania Baptist Church has bought a property in a new area of Sighisoara. After waiting for almost two years, we finally got the okay to start building.

Why do we need a new building? Our current location is too small for our growing church family. We have 165 members, but our space has a maximum of 100 seats. Most services are packed, and our children's Sunday schools also need more rooms. To keep growing and helping people, we need to move into a bigger place.

Our new property is in an area with about 15,000 people, but there is no evangelical church for them. Our old building is in the historic part of town, and the local laws there don't allow us to build a new one. By moving, Betania will become the first church located closer to where people live. This will allow us to better serve the community.

Having our own building will help us gain credibility in our community and provide space for our ministries. There are only a few Evangelicals in Sighisoara, a medieval city of 30,000 people. Our goal is to share the Gospel of Christ and bring many people to Him.
