Lalistu Christian School provides a classical Christian worldview for Ethiopian children—educating hearts and minds in what is true, good, and beautiful. God created us to flourish, so our goal is total transformation.

Our Funding Goals

Our fledging school needs many ongoing projects.

First we need to fix it up and get it ready for students to have class on a basic level—walls, floors, ceilings, playground, bathroom.

Then we will start to build more classrooms. Currently, Lalistu is a kindergarten, but we plan to expand the school until it is a k-12 school!

Estimated yearly cost: $10,000

That’s not a lot to invest in the eternal, abundant life of God's precious children!

Our Mission

Our mission is to offer Ethiopian children a premier classical Christian education, grounded in a distinctly Christian and Reformed worldview. We aim to prepare students for lives of faithful service to the Triune God and His kingdom, to change families and whole communities, and to develop students' individual gifts to advance Christ’s kingdom across Ethiopia.

About

Lalistu Christian School is a kindergarten started by Ambo Kidan Baptist Church to meet the needs of the children in their church. Currently, there are over 200 students. We recently acquired this school, and each year, we hope to add a grade level as students graduate. In order to accomplish this, we need funding for more classrooms, supplies, and to hire new teachers.
