Masina Family Relief

Last week, our lives changed in a single morning. A neighbor’s tree fell onto the main power lines, sending a massive 11,000-kilowatt surge directly into our home. The impact was immediate and devastating: it sparked a fire and sent a literal shockwave through our electrical system.

By God’s grace, our family is safe. However, the damage to our home is extensive. We are currently navigating a house with blackened and melted outlets, fried appliances, and a completely compromised electrical system. We have been without power for nearly a week, and as we peel back the layers of damage, we are discovering just how much was lost to the surge.

Why We Are Asking for Help

While we are incredibly grateful for the protection over our lives, the road to restoration is long.

We are facing significant costs to:

• Repair and replace the home's internal wiring and electrical panels.
• Restore essential appliances destroyed by the surge.
• Cover emergency expenses while our home remains without power.
