Drug addiction. Human trafficking. Domestic abuse. Many villages across Laos face these horrific realities every day. You and I want that to change. But how? How do we bring real, tangible, lasting change for good in any given community?
Underprivileged villagers don’t need more handouts, welfare programs, or NGO assistance. They need a restored sense of dignity, responsibility, and community to bring about holistic and lasting change. Many times, this simply means they need one person to believe in their God-given ability to create something of value.
This fund exists to foster Kingdom-style partnerships that will allow local people to start small businesses and become financially independent, breaking cycles of unhealthy dependency and feelings of inadequacy. The invitation is to invest in the people of God who have a vision and a calling to reach their own people.
The goal is simply this: that entire communities will encounter the King and His Kingdom through locally-led businesses and entrepreneurs who proclaim the good news through the Word and their hard work.
